Job Description

An exciting HR internship opportunity has become available for a Workforce Management Analyst Trainee who will accountable to interpret, analyze and assess the workforce processes and metrics. Key responsibility in this role is supporting the development of business staffing/scheduling plans and models and forecasting for the retail operations environment. Analyse store workload and staffing impacts and assess store operations in order to make recommendations for increased performance of the organizational goals.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide scheduling and forecasting solution that is aligned with business strategies and budgets including a view of Planned vs. Actual.
Provide data to support the development of high-quality store scheduling forecasts and plans.
Applies business, statistical and predictive modeling expertise to identify underlying trends.
Collects and maintains data associated store trade for both long and short-term periods to continuously develop model and identify patterns.
Works directly with business to determine future business plans and changes which will impact staffing model and prepare for the change appropriately.
Complete Analysis and provide insight into business solutions and proposed innovative ideas.
Ensures that the business activities and impacts of the changes are measurable.

Requirements and Competencies
A degree in Business Science or B.Com with majors in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analysis.
Computer Literacy [MS Word and MS Excel (intermediate to advanced level)] Strong problem solving & Root Cause Analysis skills
Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders
Analytical thinking skills, Logical ability
Attention to detail
Exceptional Analysis, intuition, and interpretation of data skills
Documentation skills
Clear and Concise Communication skills, both verbal and written
Leadership skills
Resilience and emotional maturity
