DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST NEEDED AT MOMENTUM

ABOUT THE POSITION

Introduction

The Myriad Marketing department is looking for a self-driven, creative digital marketing specialist who wants to grow their career in supporting Myriad clients’ towards financial health. Myriad is Momentum’s market-leading life insurance product, providing life cover to clients in South Africa.

Role Purpose

To be responsible for the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, with a focus on campaigns aimed at acquiring new business,retaining existing clients and through creating relevant customer journeys.

Responsibilities and work outputs

INTERNAL PROCESS

To ensure the marketing strategy and execution aligns with overall Momentum Retail Life Insruance strategy
Conceptualising and managing digital campaigns through effective targeting, messaging and tactics
Planning and implementing digital campaigns that drive business growth and client retention
Executing digital engagement campaigns targeted at financial advisers and clients
Creating and managing traffic to Momentum Retail Life Insurance digital platforms (web{consumers/clients/financial advisers}, social, app, quote systems) and call centre
Continuous monitoring of campaign effectiveness, applying clearly defined return on investment (ROI) metrics

Optimising email marketing to meet set campaign objectives

Tracking CRM activity to ensure optimal leads volumes
Developingdigital ledcampaigns to drive consumer,clientand financial adviserengagement
Executing aspects of launching a campaign including design, development, advertising, monitoring campaign effectiveness and reporting on campaign success
Managing internal and external stakeholders
Managing digital advertising and campaign management spend effectively across paid platform
Reporting effectively, in-depth and accurately on campaign performance
Liaise with relevantmarketingagencies in the production and delivery of communication material.
CLIENT

Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
Make recommendations to improvement of client service within area of responsibility.
Participate and contribute to a culture which build rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.

FINANCE

Contribute and manage the area specific budgets to minimise expenditure, in alignment with operational plans.
Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
Experience and Qualifications Formal Qualification

Matric (Essential)
Degree in Marketing or related qualification (Essential)
A minimum of 5 years digital marketing experience in a similar role
Financial services experience (Essential), Insurance services experience (preferred)

We’re looking for someone with:

The ideal candidate will have digital marketing experience in campaigns management and analytical skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into executable deliverables
Comprehensive grasp of core digital technology with excellent understanding of all key digital techniquese.g.website, microsites,mobi-sites, search engine optimisation (SEO) etc.
Experience delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services, or broad-appeal games a plus.
Experience with social media, product launches, web analytics tools, search engine marketing (SEM) and SEO
Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
