Code 14 Driver Wanted In Cape Town

Introduction

Requirements:
• Must have a Grade 12 (matric) certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving a truck with a trailer
• Code 14 driver’s license with PDP
• Must be able to work shifts
• Proven strong work record
• Highly motivated and ability to motivate others
• Self-disciplined, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
• Be reliable (proven record of accomplishment)
• Passionate about customer service
• Good communication skills
• Have a responsible, positive attitude
• Must have numerical ability
• Willingness to work overtime

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly as well as check documentation against the load
• Ensuring the correct products and quantities delivered to our customers
• Supervising truck assistants to ensure effective, speedy offloading
• Required to assist with offloading to ensure timeous deliveries to satisfy our customers
• Responsible for the crew, truck and its content
• Ensuring that crew and trucks are clean, neat at all times
• To pursue a timeous quick turnaround time for each delivery
• Responsible for ensuring that all PODs (proof of deliveries) signed upon delivery of product
• Responsible for collecting cash or cheques when delivering to cash sale customers and account customers
• Responsible for ensuring that all GRV’s (good received vouchers) signed and handed in timeously in the event of a customer return
• Responsible for ensuring that all driver documentation (trip sheets, vehicle inspection reports, vehicle cleaning records) are kept up to date
