Job Description:
The Chicken Business is currently recruiting for a General Worker to be based in North West and report to the Production Supervisor, the role will be responsible to assist the control room operator with Plant running, batching, and pelleting of the feed codes.
Minimum Requirements:
-Grade 12
-1-2 years experience in production
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain a constant Plant inspection at a designated section and report deviation to the production supervisor.
-Operate the Equipment in a safe manner as per the operator training Manual.
-Observe the SCADA bin in conjunction with draft parameters on the panel that operates and controls according to the requirement to ensure minimal breakdown.
-Clean and maintain 5S in the mill house and surrounding area.
-Check and empty feed and block equipment in accordance with environmental requirements.
-Ensure bin/Presses Sample are taken and submitted to the lab timeously.
-Ensure safety and quality control in the mill and types of equipment.
-Lease with control room operator for any defect and Plant processes.
-Disinfect the cooler crumblers sieves, elevators, and hammer mills.
Maintenance:
-Report defects on the plant house by completing defect book for attention to maintenance artisan and ensure repairs are done.
-Assist the Artisan with minor maintenance of the plant.
Administration:
Manage bins stock delivery and take levels daily to avoid production downtime
