Minopex Seeks General Engineering Superintendent for Rustenburg Site
Minopex, a leading engineering and maintenance solutions provider, is seeking a General Engineering Superintendent for its Rustenburg site. This position will involve coordinating steel fabrication, HDPE manufacturing, and maintenance for an engineering stream, ensuring operational requirements and technical specifications are met.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Section 13/Section 26 (D) Trade Test Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical, as well as a valid driver’s license and own transport to attend call outs. Experience in foreman roles and qualifications in Engineering Specialist or equivalent are also preferred.
As General Engineering Superintendent, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting engineering targets, integrating and coordinating maintenance plans, and deploying engineering teams to maximize running hours. They will also investigate and diagnose breakdowns, analyze equipment efficiencies, and communicate relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to technical qualifications, the candidate must possess time management, employee relations, supervisory, and finance skills. Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office Suite are also required.
