7de Laan actor (50) allegedly shot and killed 29-year old partner
Police are investigating a case of murder after a 7de Laan actor allegedly shot and killed his 29-year old partner in Norkem Park, Gauteng.
While initial reports suggested the suspect was female, police have since dispelled the false narrative and confirmed that it is in fact a male who fatally wounded his partner.

According to police the 50-year old Afrikaans soapie actor then attempted to take his own life by swallowing a bottle of sleeping tablets.
Warrant Officer (WO) Ferrerer, Communications Officer from Norkem Park Police, said SAPS was alerted to a murder scene on Friday, 14 April.
On arrival police found the body of a male victim who was shot and killed. The suspect was then arrested but had informed police he had swallowed the pills and was subsequently moved to Tembisa Hospital for treatment and monitoring.
“Both the deceased (29) and the arrested (50) are men. The actor is a 50-year-old man who is in hospital, and his partner, 29-year-old male (deceased).”
An unlicensed firearm was confiscated from the premises.
WO Ferrerer says the 7de Laan actor faces charges of murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
