Dr explains why many people die in public hospitals
Public hospitals sometimes receive a bad reputation, with many people complaining about various issues such as poor food, a lack of beds, ill-treatment by nurses, negligence, the lack of agency, long queues, and other reasons. Some even believe that patients admitted to public hospitals never leave alive.
A doctor has recently shared his thoughts on why many people die in hospitals and why hospitals sometimes unfairly get a bad reputation. In a tweet, he said, “Yes, there are cases where negligence was the reason, but it’s not as popular as the public makes it seem.” He added in another tweet, “Don’t delay going to your local clinic or hospital as soon as you feel that something is wrong. The longer you delay, the harder it will be to treat and manage the problem.”

In a tweet, the doctor urged people not to delay seeking medical attention, stating that some patients wait until they are on the verge of dying before seeking help and expecting a miracle. He acknowledged that there are cases where negligence was the reason for patient deaths, but emphasized that it is not as widespread as the public often makes it seem.
I know some of you will drag me for this, but some of you go to the hospital the moment you realise that you on the verge of dying and expect a miracle. Yes there are cases where negligence was the reason, but it’s not as popular as the public make it seem. https://t.co/CCOqwDwtQ1

While public hospitals may face numerous challenges, it is important for individuals to prioritize their health and seek medical attention when needed. It is also crucial for hospitals and healthcare professionals to address any concerns and work towards improving the quality of care provided to patients.
