As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing marketing and communications content that sets our clients apart from the competition. While your primary focus will be on social media, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on other platforms. A sense of humor is a must for this position, as you’ll be expected to bring a creative and fun approach to your work.
Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with internal partners to interpret project briefs, developing relevant content concepts, proofing and preparing files for delivery or posting, and working closely with designers and copywriters to ensure timely and effective work. You’ll also have direct client interaction, including attending client calls and ensuring their needs are met. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in creating strategies for clients and using your marketing skills to deliver excellent results.
To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of marketing and social media experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing is preferred.
This is a full-time job opportunity, with a salary range of R15,000 to R27,000 per month based on experience.
