Job Summary:

BraxtonGroup is seeking a Junior Software Developer who is passionate about the IT industry and looking for an exceptional opportunity to start their IT career.

The ideal candidate should have a Matric Certificate and a relevant Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science (or close to completion).

Job Responsibilities:

• Basic programming experience is essential.
• Quality Assurance: Test your own development and deliver according to specifications.
• Accountability and Ownership: Take responsibility for your tasks and timelines.
• Attention to Detail: Minimize rework by paying attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Exposure/Understanding of GIT as version control.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Excellent technical skills and a hunger for learning more.
• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Matric Certificate.
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or close to completion.
• Basic programming experience.
• Fluency in English language.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have own reliable transport.
• Experience in development: 1 year (required).

Salary: Up to R15,000 per month.
