Job Description:
The Views Guesthouse is seeking a part-time Facilities Allrounder to join their passionate team. The guesthouse accommodates up to 10 guests, including both local and international visitors. This position is suitable for students studying in the field who are looking to apply their learnings in a practical setting. Initiative and creativity are strongly encouraged.
Role and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will report directly to the Guesthouse owner and will be responsible for taking care of the guesthouse, the home, and the outside areas (excluding gardening). Competence in general fixing and mending, minor renovations and improvement work, dog walking, and assisting with luggage and guest needs is expected.
If you are competent and enjoy tasks such as painting, plastering, carpentry, minor electrical work, hammering, and hanging, and if you have a proactive attitude towards identifying work that needs to be done, as well as enjoy interacting with people, then you could be the perfect fit for The Views Guesthouse.
Requirements:
- Good organizational and execution skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with local and international guests, business people, and families
- Maintain a positive attitude, especially under pressure
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Working hours starting from 8:00 AM
- Preferred availability of any 3 full working days from Monday to Thursday
