ADT Learnerships 2023 Now Available
ADT learnerships are opened for application from all interested candidates. All interested applicants are to submit their applications using the procedures below. Applicants are to make sure that they fulfill all the requirements in order to improve their chances.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
ADT (which stands for “American District Telegraph” Company) was formed in 1874, through the merger between numerous smaller telegraph delivery companies.
Today, ADT provides security services to thousands of residential and commercial customers throughout South Africa, and millions more across the globe.
ADT South Africa are at the forefront on security in the country – since they entered the South African market in 2001, they have grown drastically.
ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP
The ADT technical learnership programme is a full-time course, which runs over a period of 2 years.
The programme focuses on alarm system installation, management and maintenance. Students who successfully complete the learnership will receive a SASSETA accreditation, who along with ADT, subsidise the programme.
The learnership programme will take place at engineering colleges throughout South Africa by qualified lecturers, and practical courses will take place at ADT offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth and KwaZulu-Natal.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- South African citizen
- Studying towards an Engineering qualification at an Engineering college.
