How to Search Jobs in South Africa ?

Finding a job abroad can be a challenge.

Any foreigner wishing to work in South Africa must hold an appropriate work permit. Work permits are awarded for the following categories:
a) General Work Permit

If you do not fall under the quota category, or you do not have an exceptional skill, or you are not transferred to an international company, you can apply for a general work permit.

According to South African immigration legislation, candidates for a general work permit must submit a job offer from a South African employer meeting the recommended criteria before applying for a general work permit. The employer must provide documentation confirming that it has tried to fully employ South African citizens or permanent residents by means of an advertisement in the national press. In order for you to get the job, no South African should apply for the job.

You will also have to validate your qualifications by SAQA (South African Qualification Authority).

(b) Work permits reserved for certain quotas

In addition, a letter of recommendation from former employers, a dissertation or other publications, must also be attached attesting to these qualifications.
