MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric
• Computer literacy is essential
• 6 months telesales experience
JOB SPECIFICATION:
• Sell life assurance products at call centre level
• Accurately identify insurance needs by asking effective questions and listening attentively
• Match product benefits to customer needs
• Gain commitment to recommended action around buying an insurance product
• Handle objections and overcome them with ease
• Explain features, advantages of policies and/ products to promote a sale
• Source new clients to generate leads and meet targets
• Ensure records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
• Follow Communication “scripts” when handling different topics
• Action all customer requests and retain existing customer by identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities
• Manage premium collection rate to target levels
• Comply with non-advice selling in line with FAIS/FSCA
• Follow up – must be able to establish procedures to monitor that which has been promised and delivered. Must be able to call out and convert quotes into sales.
