ESLstarter is delighted to offer exciting teaching opportunities within the Greater Tokyo District. Locations include Japan, Tokyo, and some positions in Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, and Kyushu.

Details of Position:

• Experience life in one of Asia’s most fast-paced destinations
• Full week-long orientation in Tokyo
• Teach small groups of children, teenagers, parents, professionals, and business people at community-oriented schools
• Average class size is 3 students
• Average length of teacher stay on the program is almost 3 years
• Arrival dates each month throughout 2023
• Mentoring and support from an experienced team
• Share this experience with lots of other teachers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Teaching experience: 6+ months
• No Japanese language skills required
• Fluent English speaker

Remuneration:

• Up to JPY 262,800 monthly salary (approx ZAR 32,300) with increments for higher qualifications
• 6 weeks annual paid leave
